COACH CROSS AWARD
Beloved Coach Dwayne Cross died in an automobile accident on October 11, 2008. In honor of Coach Cross' life and contributions to our organization and the community, we will present an award in his name. In his memory, The Coach Cross Award will be presented annually to a coach who displays outstanding service to LYS and the children of the organization.

In recognition of the coach who best demonstrates outstanding commitment and service to the children of our organization and community.
The votes have been counted! Coach Zac Moore, our 1&2 Grade Boys' Commissioner is our 2011 Coach Cross Award Winner! Michelle Cross and her children, Emily, Jacob and Jonah, presented Coach Moore with the award at Soccer Day on Saturday, May 21st. The time he devotes as a volunteer on multiple LYS teams, on the LYS Board, and in other youth sports leagues demonstrates the passion he has for our community's youth. His gentle disposition, sportsmanship, ethical conduct (both on and off the field), and integrity have been blessings to us. Thank you, Coach Moore, for your years of encouraging words and faithful service.
