Welcome
LaVille Youth Soccer is a non-profit organization whose mission is to foster the physical, mental and emotional growth and development of our youth through the sport of soccer at all levels of age and competition.
LYS is part of the North Central Soccer Association which is comprised of other recreational soccer organizations in the region including Argos, Bremen, Culver, Fulton County, Plymouth, Starke County and Walkerton.
Our Spring program is open to boys and girls, preschool age through Grade 8. Practices are held twice a week at Newton Park in Lakeville, Indiana. Games for preschool/kindergarten divisions are intramural and are held Saturday mornings at Newton Park. Games for Grades 1-8 are regional and are held mostly on Saturdays. The season begins in late March and continues through the end of May. Signups begin and end in January.
Our Fall program is open to boys and girls, preschool age through Grade 6. Practices are held once a week (Thursdays) with games on Saturdays. All practices and games are held at Newton Park. This intramural program runs for 5 weeks beginning after Labor Day. Signups run July-August.
Registration for Spring 2012 is now closed; however, we have a few openings yet to fill for the following age divisions:
7 & 8 Grade Girls
7 & 8 Grade Boys
Please call Julie Schmidt immediately at 784-8518 if you wish to enroll a child in any of these groups. Once we meet our quota, registration will close for that division.
We still have a need for sponsors as well. Please contact us if you are able to sponsor a team. (See Sponsor tab for more details.)
The NCSA has elected to join the Indiana Youth Soccer Association so you might see some changes in our program this year, including earlier deadlines and an earlier program start. Since our website is the most effective way to communicate, PLEASE check back periodically for important notices and updates.
